Mouth ulcers are common in Pitta body type people and people with spicy food habits. This condition is troublesome because the individual is unable to drink and eat due to this problem. This also leads to irritability and a grumpy mood. These are some tips to get relief in mouth ulcers- 1. Chew some fresh common Jasmine leaves or grind some leaves, make a paste and apply to ulcers. It has bitter and astringent properties which have a healing and cooling effect on the ulcer.
2. You can chew some Liquorice root or make a decoction of it and use it either as a gargle or swoosh in your mouth four or five-time. It will change the mouth pH to alkaline which is unfavorable for bacteria and it also makes a protective layer on ulcers that prevents them from further irritation and promotes healing. 3. All of us know about the wonderful golden spice known as Turmeric. To use in mouth ulcers we have to add some water to turmeric powder and make a paste for local application.
